Collide by Howie Day (Acoustic version)

Howard Kern Day (born January 15, 1981) is an American singer-songwriter. Beginning his career as a solo artist in the late 1990s, Day became known for his extensive touring and in-concert use of samplers and effects pedals to accompany himself. He self-financed and self-released his first album, Australia, in 2000.

"Collide" was released in the United States on June 1, 2004, as the third and final single from Day's second full-length album, Stop All the World Now (2003). The track was featured on The WB TV series One Tree Hill.

Two Top 10 radio hits: “She Says” and the platinum single “Collide.” His next release, Sound the Alarm, delved into Day’s journey from indie wunderkind to platinum-selling artist.

【お待ちかね！ギター紹介！】

メーカー名　guild（ギルド）
モデル名　starfire2（スターファイアー2）

どうだい？なかなかオシャンな見た目だろ？ギルドってメーカーはスターファイアーっていうなんか昔のヒーローみたいなダサい名前のモデルを昔から出してるらしいんだけど、それを現代的アレンジを加えた復刻モデルらしい。現在廃盤したモデルだ。中古だけど美品。

このスペックのギターがずっと欲しかった。シングルカッタウェイ（片方だけ三日月みたく尖ってる）で、ピックアップがミニハムで（厳密にはミニハムではない）、ボディが薄いフルアコタイプ。なかなか市場にないタイプのギターなため、オークションでは競り合ってまあまあの金額になってしまった。その結果、ロードバイクを売るのに必死になったってわけだ。握ると高級感は感じられないけど、弾きやすく、音も良いと思った。

個人的にチャームポイントはペグ（チューニングするためのつまみ）の背面がアンティークな感じでおしゃれ。ボリュームやトーンのノブに目をやるとホクロのようなものが。ボリュームやトーンがどの目盛りに合わせるか調節しやすい。が、小さくて見にくいのはおしいね。

こいつでガンガン弾きまくって、現役復帰するぜ。グラのみんなに聴いてもらうぞ〜！
