このお花の形、みなさんは何に見えますか？
日本では金魚ちゃんに見えるようですが
英語ではsnapdragon「噛みつく竜」です🤭

また、花言葉におしゃべり・でしゃばり
などとあるのは、口に見えるからですねぇ💋

さらに学名の Antirrhinum majus
ギリシア語でAntirrhinumは「鼻のような」
majusは5月咲きを表しますよ
実に、想像力を掻き立てる花姿ですね😊

ところで snapdragonといえば
いわゆるスナドラですよね！
Qualcomm社のモバイル向けSoCですが
なぜ、キンギョソウのお名前が付いたのか‥

プレリリース時の資料にありました
"Snap and Dragon sounded fast and fierce."
SnapとDragonには、速くて強烈な響きがある
みたいな感じですかね‥うんうん
キンギョソウとは関係ありませんでした😂

そうそう、このかわゆいキンギョソウは
お花が枯れた後にドクロができることも有名
(有名‥🤔)
花後に、さく果というものができ
中の種を飛ばすときに3つの穴があきます
それがドクロ感満載なんです🤭

ドクロから飛び出す次の命
含みを感じるというか‥神秘的ですね✨
