I work from home. So if I want to slack off at work, I can do so as much as I want. Of course, the cost is huge. The biggest advantage of working at home is that I am free from the world-famous Japanese commuter rush. Nor do I have to deal with the tension that is in the air at the office.

ところで「名言」とは何か？

実は二つ解釈があるので、実は私は可能な場合は「名言」という言葉を避けることがある

一つ目は「事物の本質をうまくとらえた言葉、特別に優れた言葉」

もう一つはあまり見ない解釈だが、発言者や著作者の名前を添えた引用

私の情報源は英語圏の quotes のサイト、つまり「引用」であり、二つ目の解釈

日々ご紹介する言葉が秀逸かどうかはなんとも言えないので、私は「引用」に近い二つ目の解釈で捉えたいのだが、まぁ、一般的には名言と言えば一つ目だろう

という訳で今回は、「名言」と言えるかどうかはわからないが、「名言」ではある、ということで[冷や汗]
